The Summit County Juvenile Court manages the Summit County Juvenile Appointment List (List). This List is attorneys who are willing to accept Court Appointments to represent clients on dependency, neglect, abuse, minors on delinquency, misdemeanors MM-4, and Felony 4/5 cases.
To qualify an attorney must:
1. Be registered and in "good standing" with the Supreme Court of Ohio;
2. Have a Supreme Court of Ohio current license status of "Active;"
3. Complete continuing education in the are of juvenile law;
4. And submit a Appointment List Application.
The Akron Bar is currently working on a juvenile court update for CLE credit. Information will be posted on this site when it is complete.
