Bankruptcy & Commercial Law Section

The Bankruptcy & Commercial Law Section seeks:

  1. To educate its members;
  2. To reduce barriers to active participation within the section;
  3. To cultivate the development of a team atmosphere in the legal community (cohesiveness, intellectual discourse, mentorship of emerging lawyers, and accountability to the highest ethical standards of practice);
  4. And to promote a respectable legal voice within the community to ensure access to legal representation for those with low socioeconomic status.

Annual White-Williams Bankruptcy Institute Event Planning Subsection

Annually, the Akron Bar Association and the Stark County Bar Association partner to plan and host the Annual White-Williams Bankruptcy Institute.  For more information on this event, please contact our Legal Professional Development Director at 330.436.0112.
