Speaker Biography

Dr. Tami M. Bolder, CPA/ABV, ASA, MBA, DBA, Director CBIZ Valuation Group, LLC
Dr. Bolder is a director in the Northeast Ohio office of CBIZ Valuation Group, LLC. She oversees business valuation engagements for estate and gift tax, exit planning, SBA loans, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, domestic relations, and other litigation purposes. She has also prepared and reviewed analyses and reports both determining economic damages and assessing the propriety of other experts’ reports. Prior to CBIZ, Dr. Bolder was a member of BDO’s national valuation practice and prior to that, a member of the New Ventures Consulting Group of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Cleveland.
Dr. Bolder received her Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in 2012. She received an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron in Accounting/International Business with a minor in Economics.
Dr. Bolder is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who is an accredited senior appraiser (ASA) and accredited in business valuation (ABV). She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of CPA’s (OSCPA), the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland. Dr. Bolder served as a member of the AICPA Business Valuation Committee from 2014-2017.
Dr. Bolder is very active in her local community. She currently serves on the board of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio, the Executive Board of the Akron Chapter of Jack and Jill of America and she serves as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She is also a coach for Leadership Akron’s Diversity on Board program. Dr. Bolder is a graduate of the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Civic Leadership Institute and Bridge Builders Class of 2015. Dr. Bolder was selected to the 2019 – 2020 Class 36 of Leadership Akron and she was appointed to the AICPA’s National Financial Literacy Commission for 2020 – 2023.

Credit has been approved with the Supreme Court of Ohio, Commission on CLE for 1.00 General credit. Akron Bar Association is an approved CLE provider with the Ohio Supreme Court.
