Summit County, Ohio - In 1996, the Akron Bar Association's Board of Directors established the Professionalism Award. This award recognizes an attorney's exceptional dedication to the profession's standards by recognizing an individual who has demonstrated integrity and humanitarian concern within the legal community.
In 2018, the award's name was changed from the "Professionalism Award" to the "Bradford 'Buck' M. Gearinger Professionalism Award" in memory of Attorney Gearinger, an Akron Bar Past-President and award recipient. On Wed., Mar. 9, 2022, Frederic L. Zuch, Esq., received the Bradford "Buck" M. Gearinger Professionalism Award as the 2021 recipient.
