Ninth District, Ohio - The Ninth District Court of Appeals selected Judge Thomas Teodosio to serve as Presiding Judge in 2022. The Presiding Judge presides over all panels on which the presiding judge sits and handles docket matters when the Administrative Judge is unavailable. Judge Teodosio was elected to the Ninth District Court of Appeals in November 2016 after serving as a Judge on the Summit County Court of Common Pleas for 10 years, following 25 years in private practice. Judge Teodosio takes over for Judge Jennifer Hensal, who finished her term as the Court’s Presiding Judge at the end of 2021.
The Ninth District Court of Appeals selected Judge Jennifer Hensal to serve as Administrative Judge in 2022. The Administrative Judge is responsible for the administration of the Court and the docket of the Ninth District Court of Appeals. Judge Hensal was elected to the Ninth District Court of Appeals in 2012 and reelected in 2018. Judge Hensal takes over for Judge Donna Carr, who finished her term as the Court’s Administrative Judge at the end of 2021.
