Summit County, Ohio - The Ninth District Court of Appeals has adopted changes to the Local Rules of the Ninth District Court of Appeals. The new Local Rules will take effect on Jan. 1, 2022.
The most significant change is the renumbering of the Local Rules to follow the numbering format of the Ohio Rules of Appellate Procedure, with the goal of making the Local Rules easier to use in conjunction with the general rules. The new Local Rules are available on the Court’s Website. You can also find a table that shows the current Local Rule numbers and where those provisions can be found in the renumbered Local Rules.
