Akron Bar Foundation Awards Grant to Extend WiFi Throughout Summit County Courthouse

The Law Library Committee of the Akron Bar Foundation awarded the Summit County Court of Common Pleas – General Division a grant for funding the expansion of Wi-Fi coverage throughout the Courthouse. This project provides all areas of the Summit County Courthouse with Wi-Fi coverage including the courtrooms, Probate, Adult Probation and the public areas.

“We appreciate the Akron Bar Association’s grant which funded this project,” said Administrative Judge Thomas A. Teodosio. “This is an important service for those practicing law at the Summit County Courthouse and I am certain this will assist the legal community doing business with the Court,” Administrative Judge Teodosio added.

The Court is proud to offer this free service which enables practicing attorneys to connect to outside resources, as well as their offices. The Court believes the expanded Wi-Fi coverage will provide a productive way for attorneys waiting to conduct business.
