This one-hour seminar for attorneys provides an overview of Ohio’s Notary Public Modernization Act. The presenters are C. Allen Nichols, Executive Director of the Akron Bar Association and Wayne Rice, Bar Counsel of the Akron Bar Association. They explain the law’s impact on traditional notary and the creation of electronic notary. There is a discussion of the law’s impact on administrative oversight responsibilities. Finally, there is a discussion of ethical considerations. This seminar originally took place on August 29, 2019.
