Description: 
This program will provide an overview of both the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Akron Civil Rights Commission (ACRC). This session will introduce ACRC, its purview, its Commissioners, and the City of Akron’s passage of the CROWN Act. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission Regional Director will review and discuss the substantive changes to ORC 4112 prompted by the recently enacted HB 352 set to go into effect on April 15, 2021, and the impact it may or may not have on the labor and employment law practitioner.
