ABOUT THE PRO BONO COMMITTEE
This committee assists in fundraising and volunteer recruitment for the pro bono legal service programs of the Akron Bar Association and works closely with Community Legal Aid to support their programs. The committee develops programs to provide assistance to those who qualify financially, such as legal advice at homeless shelters, pre-foreclosure intervention and mediation, etc. Hosts the Wills for Heroes program for first responders twice each year.
