The Ab Initio Section is a new engine of the Akron Bar Association driving young and new attorneys toward professional and leadership growth by providing access to other professionals
along with timely, cutting-edge continuing legal education and philanthropic activities to improve and develop our community.

ABOUT THE SECTION:
This section provides a forum for addressing issues affecting newer lawyers. It sponsors Explorer Post involving high school students and educational programs which gives them a better feel for the practice of law as a career. It updates "The Legal Facts of Life," a pamphlet on your legal rights and responsibilities once you are 18. It assists with the annual Bridge the Gap program. It sponsors educational programs and a reception for those newly in practice. It develops opportunities for newer attorneys to network.
